Sea Salted Cinnamon Maple Hot Chocolate Recipe


Yield: approximately 4

Chocolate milk 1 litre
Dark chocolate pieces 50 g
Cocoa powder 3 tbsp
Cinnamon 1 tbsp
Maple syrup 2 tbsp
Mini marshmallows 8 tbsp
Coarse sea salt 1 tsp



Heat chocolate milk in a pot over medium heat, stirring continually with a wooden spoon.

In a stainless steel or tempered glass bowl, add the chocolate, cocoa and cinnamon. Pour in one-third of the warm milk and whisk until it forms a smooth, silky paste. Add the remaining milk and whisk until combined.

Return the milk mixture to the pot and heat until desired temperature is reached, whisking constantly.

Pour into four mugs.

Top each mug with 2 tbsp marshmallows.

Drizzle ½ tbsp of maple syrup and sprinkle ¼ tsp sea salt on top of the marshmallows in each cup.

Serve and enjoy!
