Since 1990, John D. Scott has been involved with Lyme Ontario, where he has been serving as president for the past 17 years. Throughout this period, he has raised awareness of Lyme disease by organizing international conferences, distributing written material, establishing support groups and conducting his own research, which has been recognized by the scientific community.
