Simon Zucker founded a fundraising gala for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada. His efforts over the past 20 years, which include recruiting committee members, selling tickets and acting as master of ceremonies, have contributed greatly to the success of this event. He is also a founding member of GIFT, a charitable foundation of the grocery industry that has raised millions of dollars for physically and intellectually challenged children. A board member of Variety - The Children's Charity, he helped plan and organize a fundraising project for special needs children now known as Cash for Kids. Mr. Zucker's determination to assist others has brightened the lives of countless children and Crohn's and Colitis patients.
