Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
For twenty years, Vi Milling has been spending several days a week in the service of those who are lonely, ill or in need. She works at the Salvation Army Thrift Shop and makes regular visits to the residents of the Penticton Care Unit, where she serves tea and helps with the monthly birthday celebration. Mrs. Milling is also active in her church and has lent a hand at the community soup kitchen.
