Ratna Omidvar is a devoted advocate for settlement and integration. Having overcome her own struggles as an immigrant, she is dedicated to improving the way Canada treats its newcomers. As president of the Maytree Foundation and co-founder of the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council, she has worked with various levels of government and with corporations to develop programs that promote diversity in the workplace. Her commitment to integrating immigrants into Canadian society has helped families build brighter futures for themselves.
