Arms of Henrique Manuel Rodrigues De Almeida PereiraBlazonGules a cross flory Or voided of the field between first and fourth six plates two, two and two, second and third five fleurs-de-lis two, one and two Argent; SymbolismThe cross flory is taken from the ancestral arms of Pereira and indicates Mr. Pereira’s faith as a Christian as well as his involvement with his parish. The white discs are taken from the arms of Almeida and Castro, while the fleurs-de-lis are found in the arms of Rodrigues and Frazão, four ancient families of which Mr. Pereira is a descendant. The fleurs-de-lis also indicate Mr. Pereira’s commitment to the French language and to his adopted province, Quebec. For Mr. Pereira and his family, red is a symbol of their faith, the work they have accomplished and the successes of the family from generation to generation. |
