The Governor General attended the Governor General’s History Symposium: Fostering Understanding and Empathy through Inclusive History.

Organized by Canada's History, the symposium brought together seven panelists who gave voice to historical viewpoints that have often been silenced or ignored. They also discussed ways to improve the transmission of inclusive history within and beyond the classroom.
