In the morning, Her Excellency presented 34 Decorations for Bravery during a ceremony held at the Citadelle of Québec.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency visited Wendake, a place that serves as a vibrant crossroads of different cultures. She met with Grand Chief Rémy Vincent who walked her through the heritage of his community.

The Governor General presented a new standard to the 430 Tactical Helicopter Squadron during a ceremony at Canadian Forces Base Valcartier.
In the afternoon, Her Excellency met with some Canadian Armed Forces members who deployed as part of Operation Lentus, and also observed a training exercise of the Decontamination Platoon of the 5 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group.
Later on, Her Excellency enjoyed getting to know a group of incredible young women at Motivaction Jeunesse.
