Anthony Miller has contributed a lifetime of work to public health. He developed a reputation as a leader in both cancer control and epidemiology while at the National Cancer Institute of Canada. His sought-after experience and expertise have been willingly shared with health initiatives and organizations around the world. Through his leadership of screening trials and studies, and his many publications examining cancer causations, this University of Toronto professor emeritus has helped to improve cancer prevention and control nationally for over five decades.
