Their Excellencies to Host Governor-General of Australia
at Rideau Hall During Visit to Canada
OTTAWA—Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston will host at Rideau Hall Their Excellencies Ms. Quentin Bryce, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, and Mr. Michael Bryce, during their stay in Ottawa,
from April 4 to 6, 2013.
“This will be the first time an Australian governor general has visited the National Capital Region,” said His Excellency. “Having met Their Excellencies on several previous occasions, Sharon and I look forward to welcoming them to our country. This visit will be a great opportunity to celebrate the values and aspirations that unite us as member nations of the Commonwealth.”
Starting with a stop in Vancouver, British Columbia, on April 2, the Governor-General of Australia and Mr. Bryce will then stay in Ottawa, Ontario, from April 4 to 6, and will conclude their visit in Iqaluit, Nunavut, from April 6 to 7.

Meeting with Their Excellencies Ms. Quentin Bryce and Mr. Michael Bryce
Upon arrival at Rideau Hall, both governors general will meet to discuss linkages between both nations and their role as representatives of Her Majesty The Queen.
