Comet Jazz Quartet
The Comet Jazz Quartet is composed of members of the Central Band of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), one of Canada’s six full-time, professional military bands. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, the group’s main roles are to support morale and esprit de corps through playing at military social events and mess dinners, and also to entertain and connect with the public through outreach and educational programming. Their stylistic versatility and virtuosic abilities showcase the best of CAF musicianship.

The musicians of the Comet Jazz Quartet are all serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces, and also active members of the Ottawa music community, appearing regularly with local bands and other ensembles. They are: Sergeant Magnus Paulson, guitar; Master Corporal Michael Lett, saxophone; Master Corporal Sandra Veilleux, drums; Corporal Stephen MacDonald, bass.
