Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada to speak at the 100th anniversary of The Royal Canadian Legion

OTTAWA, Ontario—Her Excellency the Right Honourable Louise Arbour, Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada, will participate in a commemorative ceremony recognizing the 100th anniversary of The Royal Canadian Legion, on July 17, at 10:30 a.m., at the National War Memorial, in Ottawa.

The Governor General will deliver short remarks and lay a wreath at the ceremony.
