Governor General to participate in Canada Day daytime ceremony

OTTAWA, Ontario—Their Excellencies the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, and Mr. Whit Fraser will participate in the Canada Day daytime ceremony on LeBreton Flats, in Ottawa.

Their Excellencies will begin the day by participating in an Indigenous Reflection ceremony, which will include teachings from First Nations, Inuit and Métis Elders. Next, the Governor General will deliver remarks at the daytime ceremony.

Location: LeBreton Flats Park
