About the Governor General’s Medals in Architecture and Landscape Architecture
The Governor General’s Medals in Architecture and Landscape Architecture are presented in partnership with three organizations: the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects, and the Canada Council for the Arts. The day before the Rideau Hall event, members of the public are invited to a lecture at the Museum of History, where the recipients will discuss their award-winning designs, many of which incorporate innovations in environmental sustainability.
