In difficult times, we are lifted by moments of joy and hope. Today, we mark the 95th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
As the world continues to grieve the loss of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, we find inspiration in Her Majesty’s resolve, compassion and commitment to excellence. In her lifelong service to Canada and the Commonwealth, she has joined us to celebrate the victories of the human spirit and helped raise our esprit de corps. In 2022, we will celebrate The Queen’s historic Platinum Jubilee, which highlights how much the world has evolved since Her Majesty’s accession to the Throne.
On behalf of all Canadians, I wish Her Majesty The Queen the very best on her birthday.
