Graduating from High School During a Pandemic: a Young Person’s Perspective

GGconversations with Canadian Youth

OTTAWA—As part of the innovative GGconversations series highlighting exceptional individuals from diverse fields of interest, Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, will speak with Canadian youth from across the country graduating from high school on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. EDT.

The discussion entitled “Graduating from high school during a pandemic: a young person’s perspective” will be divided into two 30-minute sessions separated by a 30-minute interlude. The first session, beginning at 1:30 p.m., will be in English, while the second session, beginning at 2:30 p.m., will be in French.

Canadians are invited to submit their questions for the Governor General or her guests via one of the Governor General’s social media platforms: Twitter, Instagram or Facebook @GGJuliePayette. Questions can also be submitted during the live conversations. We want to hear from you!
