Entrepreneurship in Time of Pandemic

OTTAWA—As part of the innovative series highlighting exceptional Canadians from diverse areas of interest, Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, will host a virtual conversation with Harley Finkelstein, an entrepreneur, lawyer and the Chief Operating Officer of Shopify, on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. EDT.

The discussion, entitled “Entrepreneurship in time of pandemic,” will focus on how the pandemic has affected entrepreneurs. The 30-minute discussion will be held in English. A French translation of the conversation will be posted online at a later date.

Canadians are invited to submit their questions for the Governor General or Harley Finkelstein via one of the Governor General’s social media platforms: Twitter, Instagram or Facebook @GGJuliePayette. Questions can also be submitted live during the conversation. We want to hear from you!
