Governor General to Participate in Panel Discussion at the Canadian Science Policy Conference

OTTAWA—Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, will participate in a panel discussion at the 11th annual Canadian Science Policy Conference gala dinner on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at 8 p.m. at the Shaw Centre, in Ottawa.

This year’s conference overarching theme is building bridges between science, policy and society.

About the Canadian Science Policy Conference (CSPC)
Established in 2009, the CSPC meets an important need for a non-partisan, inclusive, national dialogue on science, technology and innovation policy. Its vision is to ensure systematic connections between Canada’s diverse scientific enterprises and policymakers in scientific enterprises, and policymakers in political spheres, both federally and provincially.
