Since 1978, Kathy McKay has volunteered with Girl Guides of Canada in various leadership roles, and has championed education and training for cultural diversity and inclusion. She is also a board member of the Coverdale Courtwork Society, and has made primary health care services accessible as a volunteer with Mobile Outreach Street Health.
