By bringing the voices of both patient and caregiver to the table, Gene Szabo has helped improve operations at Health Quality Ontario, the Queensway-Carleton Hospital and the Ottawa Heart Institute. He has also been an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion for almost 40 years, serving on the executive council and participating in Legion events and ceremonies.
