Director and primary coordinator of the Unity & District Food Bank, Carol Slater has generously served residents in her community for 16 years. In addition to managing the daily operations, she often makes the two-hour trip to the Saskatoon Food Bank-a strong indicator of her commitment towards helping the malnourished.
