Since 2008, Michael Permack has been an ambassador for the Canadian Cancer Society's Cancer Connection program, which connects cancer patients and survivors. By serving on the National Task Force and the Alberta/Northwest Territories boards of directors, he has opened the doors to new volunteers, expanded the reach of the Society, and worked to help both cancer survivors and those who have recently been diagnosed.
