Over the past 15 years, Mike Sterling has provided leadership in a variety of projects including the restoration of the Chantry Island lighthouse, coordination of the General Hunter shipwreck excavation, curation of the Ghostly Guardians of the Bruce Coast exhibit at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre, and saving the Stokes Bay lighthouse. His efforts have been instrumental in ensuring the preservation and enhancement of Saugeen Shores' maritime history.
