Emilia Stewart has been coordinating annual LemonAID stands on behalf of Because I am A Girl since she was eight years old. Her team, Barrhaven Friends for Change, has worked together for the last four years, raising funds to help to lift women and girls in developing countries out of poverty. She has been a member of Girl Guides of Canada for eight years and has participated in many local community efforts supporting Rogers House, the Barrhaven Food Cupboard, the Snowsuit Fund, and Operation Christmas Child.
