    Agnes Stewart has dedicated her talents to a number of charitable causes. A volunteer with the YMCA in Toronto for nearly 40 years, she has taught arts and crafts classes in addition to spending countless hours designing, sewing and fitting approximately 200 dance costumes a year for the children's annual recital. Since 1999, she has been a Teddy Bear Surgeon for CHEO's MASH Unit, and has made hundreds of crafts, quilts and children's clothing items to raise money for the Ottawa Food Bank, the Gloucester Senior Centre and several health-related causes. Mrs. Stewart has shown selfless generosity by donating the results of her handiwork to charity.
