Jim Starkey serves on the Coordinating Council Centre of the St. Joseph's Health Centre, which oversees the daily functioning of the Family Medicine/Palliative Care services. He gives his time to the Hospice of London, where he visits regularly, offering comfort to terminally ill patients. As a retired employee of Bell Canada, he participates in a program aimed at providing equipment to persons with visual impairment and repairs specialised audio equipment before it is donated. Countless people have benefited from Mr. Starkey's involvement and commitment to his community.
