Maureen Dikun has been involved in the Catholic Women's League, the Lioness Club, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Meals on Wheels and her church for decades. In addition to the countless hours she devotes to everything from welcoming new families in her congregation to fundraising projects and organizing annual picnics, she educates friends, neighbours, patients, students and penitentiary inmates on the benefits of adopting a "heart-healthy" lifestyle.
