Governor General's Caring Canadian Award

For more than 15 years, Jennifer Moorlag has provided exceptional leadership to many young women and has inspired them with her active community service. She is a dedicated Girl Guides and Spark leader in Whitehorse, and has served in many key positions within the organization, from program director to territorial commissioner for Yukon. She also volunteers within her parish community as a choir member, scripture reader, lay worship leader and Web site administrator. Combining her love of children and the great outdoors, she has been a camp leader with Braeburn Lake Summer Camp for the past seven years. Her generosity and dedication have helped to enhance the lives of young people in Yukon.
