A dynamic volunteer devoted to those in need and to her parish, Elisabeth Couture serves as an inspiration to many people in the Lévis area. Her efforts include 20 years as a member of the Lévis Daughters of Isabella, where she has been instrumental in organizing fundraising dinners for Jonction pour elle, a shelter for victims of domestic violence. She also volunteers at Le Grenier food bank, serving hot meals to the needy, and assists in planning entertainment for a number of seniors' residences. She has spent 10 years providing pastoral care to patients at Hôtel-Dieu Hospital and also volunteers with the Ste-Foy Antonine Sisters as a lay associate.
