Claude Gagnon

For over 40 years, Claude Gagnon has been an important link in the Témiscamingue community. He has chaired the Lake Témiscamingue winter festival and the Témiscamingue development corporation. He has organized numerous fundraising initiatives to improve services for clients in disadvantaged communities. He is involved with the Abitibi-Témiscamingue tourism association, and spearheaded the fundraising campaign for the Fort Témiscamingue National Historic Site, where partnerships between Aboriginal peoples and city residents were first established.
