Governor General's Caring Canadian Award

Paul Craig has volunteered his time to the citizens of Yellowknife, particularly youth, for almost two decades. He coached minor hockey for several years, volunteered with the Northerners Against Impaired Driving Committee, helped to establish an after-hours youth centre, and has been a strong supporter of the Air Cadet League of Canada. He has also been active in the Masons, the Rotary Club, and the RCMP Veterans' Association, and canvasses for the Canadian Diabetes Association and the Canadian Heart Fund.
