John Coope has dedicated countless hours to Jericho Beach Park as the founder and head of the Jericho Stewardship Group. He helped eradicate invasive species, restore native plants and improve biodiversity, water levels and wildlife habitat. He also trained volunteers, inventoried over 300 plant species, and inspired a legacy of community environmental action.
