Since 1995, Mark Demong has contributed over 5 000 volunteer hours to the Calgary Search and Rescue Association, participating in more than 300 search and rescue (SAR) operations. He has also held key leadership roles, including those of vice-president, president and senior search manager, and has helped train other members.
