Edward Dickins is well known throughout the Okanagan Valley as an advocate for recognizing Canada’s veterans for their service. During decades volunteering with organizations such as the British Columbia Dragoons Regimental Association and the Okanagan Military Museum Society, he connected veterans to one another, their communities and Kelowna’s sister city of Veendam in the Netherlands.
