Lauded as an inspiring mentor, John England is a true force of nature. Professor emeritus in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Alberta, he conducted more than 50 years of field research on the impact of environmental change on the Canadian Arctic Archipelago, from the Ice Age to the present.
