Dedicated to helping disadvantaged children throughout the world, he has volunteered countless hours to child-focussed development agencies. He has shared his expertise and leadership with Foster Parents Plan of Canada as their director since 1989. He also serves as director and chairperson of PLAN International, an organization that helps developing communities in 40 countries to attain basic self-sufficiency. A lawyer by profession, he is equally recognized as a mentor and for his pro bono work, as well as for his involvement in continuing education activities.
