Motivated by his deep concern for the environment, he is a futurist who has challenged conventional thinking. For the last five decades he has devoted his energies to developing a carbon-free alternative to fossil fuels. Today, he is a recognized authority on hydrogen technology and its practical applications as a clean, renewable source of power. His electrolytic production methods are used in more than 90 countries, and his fuel appliances are already powering buses, cars and trucks. He has also shared his expertise and knowledge, serving as Chair of the Canadian Exporters Association and the Export Development Corporation.
