He has demonstrated outstanding dedication to his community. Described as a catalyst for action, this successful accountant has lent his energy and vision to a great number of organizations. Among his many leadership positions, he served as President of the Jerusalem Foundation of Canada and as Chairman of the Combined Jewish Appeal. Past President of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Montreal, he helped secure the viability of many institutions. He has also made a significant contribution to the health care and education sectors, notably at the Douglas Hospital and at McGill University, where he holds the title of Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors.
