He is a talented landscape artist and an influential teacher of younger generations of Canadian artists. He has exhibited and presented his works throughout Canada, the United States and Europe and has taught at the Banff Centre for the Arts for many years. His paintings are evocative of British Columbia at its finest - breathtaking coastal dawns and sunsets, rolling hills and grassy meadows of the Cariboo region and the wintry beauty of snow and ice.
