One of the most respected coaches in hockey, he has been involved in every level of the game. Credited with revolutionizing the sport with his use of video and computer technology to evaluate scoring chances and analyze performance, he has coached 10 professional teams and some 1,000 NHL games. In the off-season he operates a successful coaches' clinic at the University of Windsor and a summer hockey camp that he founded in 1976. Known for his humility and dedication, he has been a mentor to youngsters in need of guidance, on and off the ice. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, he continues to perpetuate national pride in rinks across the country with his boundless passion for the game.
