  Presently in her third term as Chancellor of Queen's University, this Ottawan is an active volunteer who has served as Chairman of the Executive Committee and President of the Canadian Council on Social Development and on the executive boards of the Volunteer Committees of Art Museums of the United States and Canada, the National Association of Canadian Clubs and the Canadian Citizenship Federation.

  Now Chancellor Emeritus of Queen's University, she has continued, unabated, her record of public service. A matchmaker between the corporate and volunteer sectors, she has energized both with her vision, her compassion, her graciousness and her generosity. This is a promotion within the Order.
