He is a pioneer in the field of fertility and sexuality of people with physical disabilities. His work in reproductive technologies at the University of British Columbia has created new possibilities for many of his patients in an area which was previously overlooked by physicians. As a result, numerous couples living with spinal cord injuries and multiple sclerosis are able to achieve their goal of having children of their own.
