This surgical oncologist has established himself as a leader in the treatment of cancer. He founded the Cedars Cancer Fund and initiated the first Oncology Day Centre at Montreal's Royal Victoria Hospital, where he was senior surgeon for more than thirty-five years. He also made extensive academic contributions while on the faculty of McGill University.
