In 1964 he initiated T.E.S.T., the Territorial Experimental Ski Training program for Northern Canadian youth. In cooperation with Yukon schools and government, this is a unique training experience that furthers the physical and mental development of youth while strengthening their self-esteem. Many graduates of the program have achieved national success in cross-country skiing events.
