President of a Saskatchewan real estate and investment firm, he also founded and developed several industrial enterprises that have contributed greatly to the growth and prosperity of the province. He has also offered the benefit of his vision and wisdom to diverse organizations, from the CKCK Children's Fund to the Canadian Council of Christians and Jews, to the Salvation Army.
