Rayleen De Luca is known throughout Canada for her research on and activism against
child sexual abuse. As a clinical child psychologist and professor at the University of
Manitoba, she has conducted breakthrough research on the damaging effects of child
violence, which has led to innovative treatment methods. She has worked tirelessly
with communities around the country to eradicate child abuse and is a vocal advocate
for increased dialogue on this difficult subject. She has also shaped the next generation
of practitioners as the director of clinical training at the university.
