Using her resources of commitment and tenacity, she has raised awareness of the many difficulties facing Native people who live in cities. Not content to simply raise issues, she has worked hard on projects that help to alleviate some of the problems. As a result of her determined efforts, a much-needed school lunch program for disadvantaged children was inititated in Regina, and a successful "Coats for Kids" campaign launched.
