Beloved resident of Kentville, who has won the affection of thousands of Nova Scotians by devoting his whole life to helping young people; who has been active not only in church groups and amateur sport, but has dedicated half a century to furthering the aims of scouting and, at a hundred and one, is the oldest registered Scouter in the British Commonwealth, and still eager to help the young.
