During his 37-year career as a teacher and sports coach in Calgary, his influence extended beyond those directly involved in his classes, his teams and his religion. Believing and teaching that every individual has a responsibility to develop himself to his fullest potential and to make a contribution to mankind, he instilled a love of good sportsmanship and good citizenship into generations of students.
