She has dedicated her life to supporting amateur sport, particularly alpine and nordic skiing, and more recently has been instrumental in the revitalization of Biathlon as a discipline in Canada. Not only have her contributions as a volunteer "builder" of national sports benefitted current athletes, but the work she has done will ensure a solid base for those who will follow in the years to come.
